Jackie Nickerson is an American-born British photographer and director, currently based between Europe and the U.S. Her distinctive naturalistic style and her precision, and research, into choosing the individual components for each assignment help to create her definitive imagery. 

Her advertising clients include Dior, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Marni, Simone Rocha, Zara, Skims,Victoria’s Secret and Adidas among others. She has worked with Yeezy since 2014 for photography, research and brand development.

Editorial collaborations include American Vogue, Vogue Italia, Vanity Fair, AnOther magazine, Document Journal, Dazed and Confused, Pop magazine and 032c magazine. She has also worked on documentary and portrait editorials with WSJ, American Vogue and Time magazine. In 2014 she became the first woman in the history of Time magazine to photograph the Person of the Year cover.

She has exhibited widely in venues which include the National Portrait Gallery, London; Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin; Santa Barbara Museum of Art; Museum of Modern Art, Salzburg; Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, Kansas; Palais des Beaux-Arts, Brussels; Vatican Museums, Rome; Benaki Museum, Athens; The National Gallery of Ireland. Her work is held in many important private and public collections. Her art practice is represented by The Jack Shainman Gallery, NYC.
